Technology - Pre-Bent Tube Design

Aluminum tubes naturally want to spring back to a straight shape, which makes bending short track blades challenging. To address this, we use two key design features:

1. We use an aluminum alloy that holds its bend better than those used in many other blades.

2. We cut the slot for the steel on a slight curve. The tube itself is straight, but the steel sits in a gentle pre-bend.

This small built-in curve means you only need to bend the tube a minimal amount to achieve your preferred radius. Because the tube undergoes far less stress during bending, the blade is more likely to hold its shape for a long time. Some skaters may never need to re-bend their blades at all.
